Each month the committee announces a list of donations accepted on behalf of the local food panty. During the holidays special giving programs encourage families to help those less fortunate.

Drop off store gift cards in the Holiday Drive Box in the office. All proceeds will benefit the clients of Southborough Youth & Family Services. |

other games for a fun day of outside activity for each

Proving refreshments for various

Kindergarten Orientation |
A spring event for incoming

a puppet show and “first bus ride” to help with transitions. |

Literacy Program |
Reading is Finn-tastic is a program to encourage
reading among all students. Each time your child reads
a book or magazine, write the title on the Golden Ticket.
Once the Golden Ticket is complete your child can bring
it into school. |

Lunch Room Monitors |
SOS assists in scheduling volunteers
to help students during
lunch. |

Math Day |
Introduces innovative approaches to solving
math problems. |

Room Parents |
SOS recruits and coordinates
room parents for each classroom. Room parents work closely
with the teacher to schedule classroom volunteers and
special events. |

Special Person Sundaes |
A fun time for families to
enjoy an ice cream social. Each student asks a special
person to be their guest free of charge. All other family
members and friends may attend and contribute toward
the ice cream. |

Summer Quest |
A program
designed to keep kids reading all summer long. Students
keep track of books read and turn in logs to win prizes.
